NATIONAL — As the Coronavirus continues to spread across the globe, a number of local events have been canceled or postponed out of concerns for public safety. Events and schools all across North Carolina have had to modfiy schedules and control crowds.

Gov. Roy Cooper issued an executive order prohibiting any mass gathering of 100 or more people. The order also directs all K-12 public schools to close for students beginning March 16. Schools will remain closed until May 15.

  • The Charlotte Symphony has posponed all performances through April 12, as well as canceled the Link Up concert on March 31
