Good morning, North Carolina! Here's what you need to know today.
Your Weather Planner
Warm and humid weather was seen across the eastern part of the state. We saw a little break in the humidity across the west while wildfire smoke created some poor air quality for the Triad.
Air quality may again be an issue in some corners of the state Tuesday, so stay tuned to your local Weather on the Ones forecast for the latest. Other than a few showers across the immediate coast, rain chances remain low and heat, plus humidity will make it feel very toasty. Temperatures will range from the upper 80s to low and mid 90s with the hottest spots in the Sandhills. With the humidity, "feels like" temperatures will reach the triple digits.
Rain chances start to return on Wednesday with heat and humidity still raging across the state.
