Good evening, North Carolina. We’re wrapping up the day for you with the most important stories you need to know and your weather outlook.

Your Weather Planner

Decreasing clouds overnight make way for a mostly sunny and warmer Saturday.

The next storm system will affect the area Saturday night and Sunday. Low pressure is expected to track to the south, keeping the more significant rain totals to the south, but we may still see spotty light rain. We will also be much cooler Sunday, with highs nearly 10 degrees lower than Saturday. Back-to-work weather shows a warming trend starting Monday.
