Saturday will be mostly cloudy, breezy and warm with a shower or two possible.

Severe storms could be moving into the mountains very late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. This system will have the potential to produce severe storms with damaging winds and isolated tornadoes Sunday morning across the western half of North Carolina. It will affect central and eastern North Carolina by midafternoon and evening Sunday, with storms possible overnight along the coast.

Monday will be clear with breezy and seasonably cool conditions. Expect a quick warmup Tuesday and Wednesday.
