The Craggy Mountain Line was a favorite attraction for much of the Asheville community. But when Hurricane Helene ripped through western North Carolina, the railway wasn’t spared. Much of the railway was damaged and underwater. Help finally came in the form of 25 railroad workers from HG Railroad Services.

Showers will continue into early afternoon and taper off around sunset at the coast. Temperatures will peak in the 40s to lower 50s in the afternoon. We'll see a quarter of an inch of rainfall or less. Warmer weather with more sunshine is expected Tuesday.
