Good morning, North Carolina! Here's what you need to know today.

Many cities are working to bring talent back to their areas, and Action Greensboro has been recognized for its efforts to do that. The organization's Boomerang Greensboro Campaign helps bring back city natives by supporting them with housing, jobs and school. About 90 families have returned through the program.

Your Weather Planner

Lows at sunrise will be in the upper 30s to upper 40s. We could even end up starting in the 50s at the coast. Showers will taper off early this morning, and skies will clear later in the day. Look for temperatures to peak in the 60s to lower 70s in the afternoon in central and eastern North Carolina under partly cloudy skies. Top temperatures will be in the 50s farther west. We'll be even warmer on Tuesday, but a sharp drop in temperature is expected for the second half of the week.
