HILTON, N.Y. — Two more accusers have come forward in a new lawsuit filed against Northwood Elementary Principal Kirk Ashton and the Hilton School Central District.
As in other complaints, court documents allege Ashton sexually abused the two victims while they were in his office for lunch. The lawsuit also claims the district failed to maintain a safe environment for students and is asking for millions in damages.
The district offered no comment.
Ashton was indicted in April on multiple counts of sexual abuse and child endangerment, according to prosecutors. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Authorities say Ashton remains in jail and is scheduled to appear in court next on August 25.
