There is new information Wednesday regarding the Northwood Elementary principal accused of sexually abusing children.

Two more people have come forward accusing Kirk Ashton of sexual abuse, bringing the total number of alleged victims to 11.

Ashton was indicted on seven counts each of sexual abuse and course of sexual conduct against a child. A grand jury also handed up 11 counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

State police say the abuse allegedly happened during school hours, between 2017 and 2021.

Ashton served as the Northwood Elementary school principal for 17 years.

Thursday at 6 p.m., the Hilton Central School District is holding a webinar presentation by the Bivona Child Advocacy Center to discuss the recent events.

The webinar is for middle school and high school students and families.

The suspended school leader remains in the Niagara County Jail.
