IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — An Irondequoit man accused of killing his girlfriend will soon return to the area to face charges.
Seth Larson waived his extradition in a West Virginia courtroom on Tuesday, meaning officials will have 15 days to bring him back to New York.
The dismembered remains of Lisa Shuler were found at two locations around the Town of Irondequoit. They were first discovered at a property on Culver Road in Irondequoit on May 25, with more remains recovered at Durand Lake on June 1, about a mile from the Irondequoit home.
Larson is charged with murder, tampering with evidence and hiding the corpse. Police tracked him down in a West Virginia hospital last week.
Officials say Shuler lived with Larson, and that they had been together for about a decade.
Authorities say they don't know of any possible motive, and don’t know how Shuler died.
