SAN ANTONIO -- The same arrest warrant that landed Air Force Officer Andre McDonald in jail and charged with killing his wife Andreen McDonald, reveals gruesome details in the Bexar County slaying.

  • Andre McDonald charged with murdering wife
  • Body was found covered with bones of a dead cow

The 40-year-old man currently is locked up with a $2 million bond.

Andre McDonald was taken into custody Saturday after the Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed it was the body of Andreen McDonald that was discovered on a 50-acre piece of property in north Bexar County on Thursday.

The court records say Andreen McDonald's remains were found covered with wood and bones from a dead cow. The pile then was set on fire. A detective wrote in the arrest warrant that melted plastic or synthetic material was found entangled with the remains. The same warrant states McDonald previously confessed he and his wife were fighting shortly before she went missing.

In March he was charged with tampering with physical evidence but quickly bonded out. Saturday’s arrest warrant reveals the McDonald’s young daughter as autistic and had acted out in detail the violent event that ended the life of her mother.

It wasn't until Andreen McDonald's body was found that DNA collected throughout the investigation and a mountain of other physical evidence all came together leading to McDonald’s arrest.
