County-wide searches have been underway to find Andreen McDonald, who was last seen on February 28. Her husband, Andre McDonald, was arrested for tampering with evidence in a missing person’s investigation on March 3.

Jail records show that Andre McDonald’s bond was reduced from $3 million to $300,000. He posted his bond on April 1. According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, McDonald was released through the front doors of the Justice Intake Center on Tuesday and not remanded to military custody. Per the terms of his bond agreement, he will be wearing a GPS Tracker and still remains a major in the Air Force and the military expects him to abide by the terms of his release.

Evidence found in his possession that led to his arrest included receipts, a shovel, an ax, a hatchet, large trash bags, and gas cans, which had traces of blood. According to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar, these findings led authorities to believe that the items were implements that were going to be used to dispose of a body.
