Lizzo performed in the 7 p.m. slot on Sunday, October 6, 2019 on the Miller Lite stage, and performed again on October 13 on the same stage. However, some of those in attendance equated their experience to being in a mosh pit, and called the whole concert a "safety hazard."

Childish Gambino performed on the American Express Stage across from The Cure on the other end of the park. During the second weekend of the festival, the artist announced to his fans that this would be his last performance ever.

The Austin Police Department conducted a no-refusal initiative in conjunction with the festival through assistance from the City of Austin Transportation Department. During the operational time periods throughout both weekends of the festival, officers made 83 DWI-related arrests.

What Did Not Happen:

There were also several, unwelcomed surprises for those who braved the heat of Weekend One and the cold of Weekend Two. Cardi B, who only performed during the first weekend of the festival, did not make it on time. The rapper was set to take the stage at 8 p.m. for a 45-minute set. She arrived 30 minutes late, leaving many of her fans unhappy and taking to social media to show it.

Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion did not show up at all for her Weekend Two performance, issuing an apology to her fans and blamed her absence on a performance in a different state the night before.
