RALEIGH, N.C. — In the race for North Carolina attorney general, Rep. Jeff Jackson is projected to win the Democratic nomination, according to The Associated Press.
Other Democrats on the primary ballot were Satana Deberry and Tim Dunn.
Jackson will face Republican Rep. Dan Bishop in the General Election. Bishop was the sole Republican candidate running for AG.
The General Election is set for Nov. 5, when North Carolina voters will cast ballots for president, governor, the council of state, Congress, the entire General Assembly and dozens of local seats.
