For every taco sold, $0.24 is donated to Feed My Starving Children. Nationally, the chain has helped raise over 14 million meals for children in more than 70 countries.
“We want [customers] to come in and enjoy the food, of course. But then again, we want them to know that they’re helping somebody else that would not have a meal that day,” Ladigo said.
But the food is also reason enough to head to Tacos 4 Life. The restaurant serves more than a dozen unique takes on the classic taco.
“Every [taco] has a unique flavor profile,” Ladigo said. “Everything is chef inspired.”
Tacos 4 Life grand opening in Charlotte is Monday, at 3351 Pineville-Matthews Rd.
There’s also a location in Concord, which has helped raise more than a million meals for children in need since it opened.
