CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It’s better than your typical tailgate because Stats Restaurant & Bar is not your typical sports bar.

“Everything is made by hand. Nothing is pulled out of a freezer,” co-owner Natosha Riddick said.

Riddick and her fiance, who is also a co-owner, wanted a space where the meal on your plate is just as good as the game on their 40-plus flat screens. Featuring high-end seafood and steak dishes over typical pub fare, Stats has a unique menu for a sports bar.

“We spent our time making sure all of our food is delicious and made with love,” Riddick said. “It’s something different and that’s what we we’re aiming for.”
