CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are looking for a second suspect after an arrest was made for the murder of NoDa restaurant co-owner Scott Brooks.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says 33-year-old Terry Conner Jr. was arrested early Wednesday morning after "hiding in plain sight." He was found on Countryside Drive in northeast Charlotte and taken to the hospital before going to the CMPD's headquarters. He faces several charges including for murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree kidnapping, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Police say Conner previously served time for an assault with a deadly weapon charge and was later released. Additionally, he was previously charged following a home invasion.
