EL PASO, Texas - An Illinois-based charity is helping to comfort the El Paso community in the days following a mass shooting that left 22 dead at an East Side Walmart.

 

 

 

Since Monday, the Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry has visited numerous organizations throughout the city. This includes hospitals, survivors and first responders.

The charity also has a group of comfort dogs deployed in Dayton, Ohio, where another mass shooting occurred over the weekend.
