Good morning, New York. Here's what you need to know today.

Your Weather Planner

A tranquil, bright yet cold start to our morning is here with lows in the teens and 20s. You may want to wear a winter coat out the door and don't forget sunglasses for the bright sunshine bouncing off the snow and ice on the ground.

We have a light southeast breeze today which is good news for those continuing clean-up from the weekend storm and we have wall-to-wall sunshine that warm us into the mid-to-upper-40s this afternoon. Be careful, as ice will continue slip off tree limbs and roofs today as temperatures turn mild and the sun shines down.

Tonight remains dry, fair and tranquil with lows mostly in the 20s before gray skies and temperatures near 50 return.
