Calling hours are set for Monday for National Guard Aviator John Grassia.

Grassia and fellow aviator Casey Frankoski were killed in a crash on the U.S. Mexico border on March 8. The pilots were assigned to a regiment working with Joint Task Force North, a federal military mission that helps support U.S. Customs and Border Protection. An investigation into what caused the crash is ongoing.

Calling hours are from 2 to 7 p.m. at Saint John the Evangelist Church on Union Street in Schenectady.

Grassia's funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the church.

Following the mass, Grassia will be buried at Saratoga National Cemetery.

On Friday, hundreds of family, friends, and fellow National Guard members came together to say goodbye to Frankosi.

She was also laid to rest at Saratoga National Cemetery.

A third crew member, Jacob Pratt, survived that crash and in an update on the family's GoFundMe, they say he is off oxygen and breathing on his own now. He has also begun physical therapy.
