Today will be another very warm November day with record highs again being challenged around the region. Look for upper 70s to lower 80s through the foothills, piedmont and Sandhills, with 70s in the mountains.
A cold front will slide through late today, and we will turn noticeably cooler for the weekend. Highs will return to the 60s tomorrow, with upper 50s to mid-60s looking likely Sunday.
Our Saturday looks dry, and then clouds and the chance of a few showers arrives Sunday and will continue into Veterans Day on Monday.
Tropics:
Rafael is in the Gulf of Mexico and will steadily weaken this weekend as it meanders in the Gulf. No impact from Rafael for the Carolinas.
