Look for some clouds to be on the increase today as a cold front approaches from the west. A few mountain showers are possible, but the region will have much better shower chances late tonight and into Sunday. For the coast, the best shower chances will be Sunday night into Monday morning.
Most of Monday will be sunny, and then the potential is there for a much-needed, widespread, soaking rain late Tuesday into Wednesday. The coolest air thus far this season will then follow that system for Thursday and Friday.
