Spectrum News 1 will air comprehensive live midterm election coverage today.
Election Day coverage kicks off at 7 p.m. with a special hourlong edition of “Capital Tonight” with Tim Boyum. Tim will be joined by political analysts - Western Carolina University political science professor Chris Cooper, former N.C. Republican Rep. Mark Walker and Democratic political expert Douglas Wilson - to break down key races and top issues among North Carolinians.
At 8 p.m., Spectrum News 1 anchors Claudine Chalfant and Tim Boyum will anchor live “Decision 2022: Election Night in North Carolina” primetime coverage with political anchor/reporter Loretta Boniti, D.C. Bureau reporter Reuben Jones and anchor Rob Wu live in studio.
The network’s primetime coverage will feature real-time results for all North Carolina local, statewide and federal races, analysis of the wins and losses from Spectrum’s team of political experts, and live updates and reports from Spectrum News 1 journalists across North Carolina.
