RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin won another term Tuesday as the city’s top elected official, according to unofficial results with all precints reporting.

Baldwin beat out challengers Terrance Ruth and Daquanta Copeland with 47.9% of the vote.

Daquanta Copeland came in third in the mayoral election, with 10.4% of the vote.

Stormie Denise Forte and Jonathan Melton won the two city-wide at-large seats on City Council.

Raleigh City Council elections were delayed last year because of COVID-19 and redistricting. The mayor and several council members faced criticism for quietly asking the legislature to permanently move municipal elections to even years.
