Splash Car Wash at Ten-Ten Road and Highway 401 is presenting its first-ever haunted car wash called Night of Nightmares.
“So we've got probably a dozen actors that will be roaming throughout the parking lot and inside our tunnel,” said Site Manager Tyler Thaler. “We've got lasers, we've got fog machines, we've got almost 20 different color lights. So the whole place is going to be completely lit up in color, so it will be pretty cool.”
Staff wanted to host the event to give families a safe, COVID-19 friendly way to celebrate the spooky holiday.
“With the pandemic going on, everything has been shut down, and everyone loves Halloween,” Thaler said.
Families can go to the Night of Nightmares haunted car wash from Oct. 29 through Halloween, from 8-11p.m.
Some of the proceeds with go to Longleaf Schools of the Arts because the school is providing some actors for the car wash event.
General admission is $20 per vehicle. Splash Car Wash fast pass members pay $10.
