An initial Facebook post by the mall said it was already open. However, it is now clarifying that essential businesses such as Staples and takeout restaurants are in the process of reopening to the public.
A few businesses in North Carolina have come under scrutiny from law enforcement for reopening early and defying the state's stay-at-home order.
