It was a beautiful weekend with milder temperatures on Sunday.

Monday is looking good too, with even milder temperatures. With plenty of sunshine, the Charlotte area will be in the upper 60s with the Wilmington area around 70.

The milder air will stick around all week but the sunshine will not. Things start turning more unsettled again on Tuesday with some rain by the afternoon.

We will then have a shower chance each day for the rest of the work week.

There may even be a few lingering showers over the weekend as we cool off a bit.
