CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- After a gloomy end to our work week, we'll see a clearing sky overnight with a lot of sunshine from the mountains and out across the Piedmont.
- Snow in the mountains will be possible
- Windy in the High Country
- Rain on Monday
Mountain snow will be possible in the early overnight hours and then a clearing sky. Winds will also be an issue for the High Country through Saturday afternoon.
A Freeze Watch is active for Saturday Night and Sunday.
Mid 50s for highs are expected this weekend with the Sunday morning low near 26 for Charlotte and 18 for Boone.
Rain is back in our forecast late Monday through late Wednesday.
