ST. LOUIS — From sampling margaritas to live music and performances, there are several events happening in the St. Louis area this weekend, Oct. 5-6.
St. Charles County Parks will host a Fall Harvest Festival Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Agriculture Educational Garden at Broemmelsiek Park.
Attendees can explore the craft of woodworking, view historical demonstrations, build a wreath to take home, enjoy a corn maze, get pumpkins and other goods from vendors.
Tickets for hayrides and wreath making are available at the registration table. Live folk music also will be played throughout the day.

The first ever “SPUD-chella” Potato Festival at Budweiser Brew-House in Ballpark Village is Saturday at 11 a.m.
There will be live music, potato inspired food options, local potato themed vendors and food trucks, potato sack races, sweet potato baked goods and more.

Bar K will host a margarita festival Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
The event will feature live music, more than 10 margarita samples, frozen drinks, a beer garden and a giveaway to Mexico.

The annual Historic Shaw Art Fair is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event will feature 120 artists, food, music and school art galleries. Displayed artwork includes ceramics, digital art, drawings and pastels, fiber art, glass, mix media, photography, printmaking, sculptures, wood and metal work.
The art fair will take place on the parkway of Flora Place at Tower Grove Avenue, across from the Missouri Botanical Garden.

The St. Louis VegFest is Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the World’s Fair Pavilion at Forest Park.
The event will encompass all things vegan, including food and merchandise vendors. There also will be presenters and nonprofit tents.
