ST. LOUIS — From enjoying a variety of beer and chili to celebrating Dia De Los Muertos, there are several events happening in the St. Louis area this weekend, Nov. 2-3.
Schlafly Beer will host its popular harvest celebration, Full Moon Festival, Saturday from 3-9 p.m. at Schlafly Bottleworks.
The festival will feature seasonal Schlafly beers, roasted pigs from local farmers, bonfires, live music and the return of the annual chili cook-off.
It’s free to attend, but guests can purchase tickets to sample participating chilis and cast a vote of their favorite one. The brewpub with the most votes will be named the winner and receive a prize and a trophy.

The Laumeier After Dark event will take place at Laumeier Sculpture Park Saturday from 4-10 p.m.
It will feature captivating light-based art installations, creative illuminations of the park’s sculpture collection.
Attendees also can enjoy live music, bonfires and a night market with local vendors along with food and drinks.

The St. Louis Animal Rights Team will host a World Day celebration Saturday at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
Attendees can enjoy vegan wines, with and without alcohol, and “cheezes.” The event also will serve as START’s November meeting.

The community can experience the rich culture of Dia De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead on Saturday for an inaugural street festival in The Delmar Loop.
The free festival will feature authentic Mexican street food, arts and crafts, a costume contest, performances and other cultural activities.
Attendees also will have a chance to contribute to the event’s community altar, which is a space to honor those who died.
The street festival will take place from noon to 10 p.m. at the intersection of Delmar Boulevard and Rosedale Avenue. After 5 p.m. is those aged 21 and up.
The Missouri History Museum will host a family-friendly Dia De Los Muertos event Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The two-day event will feature altars, live music, dance performances, an art display, crafts, storytelling, food from local vendors and more.
At the end of the day on Saturday, there will be a quarter of a mile procession through Forest Park at 5:30 p.m.

The Shaw Nature Reserve will host its 15th annual Art Show Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will showcase artwork from 25 local artists whose work captures the beauty of nature through a variety of mediums, including ceramics, wood and metal sculptures, paintings, fold art, photography, jewelry, basketry, fibers and more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase artwork. The event will be located at the rustic cabins of the Dana Brown Overnight Center at the Shaw Nature Reserve.
There also will be fresh coffee, cider and other treats from the Stacked Coffeehouse for shoppers to enjoy while browsing the artwork.
Tickets can be purchased online. Admission is based on vehicle size, instead of per person.
The city of Ballwin will host the Ballwin Hayride event Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the Ballwin Golf Course.
The event will include hayrides, bounce houses, live music and bonfires. S’mores and food trucks.
