ST. LOUIS — From fall festivals to a taco crawl, there are several events happening this weekend in the St. Louis area, Sept. 14-15.

Missouri Book Festival

The Missouri Book Festival is Saturday in Washington, Mo., from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event includes author talks, writing illustrating workshops, circus acts, food demos, literacy characters, musical performances and more.

The festival celebrates the best of regional life, culture and history and aims to promote literacy and encourage reading.

The 17th annual Ballwin Kids Triathlon is Sunday.
