Showers will continue to dominate the forecast through Tuesday. Some storms may produce localized downpours along with gusty winds and lightning. The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for much of the area through Tuesday morning.
The widespread rain may come to an end early in the day Tuesday, but scattered afternoon and evening storms could produce downpours in some areas Tuesday and Wednesday. The second half of this week looks drier but hotter. It will feel like summer by Friday.
