HONOLULU — Starting Aug. 22 through 26, the City and County of Honolulu Department of Transportation Services will close the makai side of the Hawaii Kai Park & Ride parking lot for asphalt repaving.

Throughout the week, both Elaine Dobashi Hawaii Kai dog park and adjacent park and ride parking will be closed. Reynolds Recycling will relocate their trailer truck to the other parking lot on the mauka side of the park and ride. The Hawaii Kai Park & Ride transit center will remain open and operating for TheBus operations.

The People’s Open Market is expected to take place on Aug. 27 on the mauka side of the park and ride.
