NATIONWIDE – Movie theaters across the country are screening Avengers: Endgame morning, noon and night for the opening weekend.

  • Alamo Drafthouse creates Avengers PSA
  • Urges movie goers to avoid spoilers
  • Signs requesting people don’t discuss it

Across the country Alamo Drafthouse locations are putting their own touch on the movie-going experience. Movie goers can expect to see picture-ready lobbies with references to previous films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

One of the biggest concerns is the spoilers readily available, and in some cases unavoidable, immediately after the first screenings. The Drafthouse is asking film fans to help preserve the experience for those who haven't seen it yet.

A parody public service announcement was even created by the Drafthouse urging people to avoid spoiling the film for others.

"We have signs throughout our lobbies, our bathrooms, our specialty bars. So whenever you're walking around an Alamo, we're asking everyone to not talk about the movie. Wait until you get safely in your car, you're all the way home. Don't talk about it. Don't ruin it for someone else on their way into their screening," said Morgan Hendrix, an official with the Alamo Drafthouse.

Alamo Drafthouse says anyone who texts, talks or spoils will be kicked out without a refund.
