AUSTIN, Texas – Beto O’Rourke is heading back to Texas to hold his first rally in Austin since announcing he is running for president.

The rally will take place in downtown Austin at W. 9th Street and Congress Avenue on Saturday, March 30 at 9 p.m. Attendees are asked to RSVP to the event here.

O’Rourke has been on the campaign trail since announcing his 2020 presidential run on March 14. The former Texas congressman gained national attention is his run for the Senate against Ted Cruz in 2018.

Despite losing the Senate race, O’Rourke shattered national fundraising records without accepting any money from political action committees.

An El Paso native, O’Rourke has called for the immediate reunification of migrant families, which is a key issue at the Texas border.
