IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — There is an international manhunt for a second suspect in the murder of a family of four from Irondequoit.
One suspect, Julio Cesar Pimentel Soriano, 34, is already in custody and now authorities say his brother, Louis Francisco Soriano, who also goes by "Jeffrey", 31, is wanted in connection with the killing of two parents and their children.
Police say multiple fires at 329 Knapp Avenue on Aug. 31 killed Fraime Ubaldo, 30, Marangely Moreno-Santiago, 26, Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno, 4, and Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno, 2.
Irondequoit Police Chief Scott Peters described the scene as the worst he has ever seen.
Julio Cesar Pimentel Soriano is charged with four counts of murder in the second degree.
Police say the search for Louis Francisco Soriano has been going on for about a week. They believe he is on the run in either Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic.
Local authorities say they are working with federal officials and the U.S. Marshals.
They do not believe he is in the United States and anywhere near the location of the fires.
Peters says the Soriano brothers are cousins of murder victim Fraime Ubaldo.
