Connecticut native Wendy Wright has made Rochester her home for almost 30 years. She previously worked as a anchor/reporter at another local station, then started at Spectrum in 2018 as a reporter. She is a multiple award winner, her favorite of which is the New York State Associated Press Broadcasters Association First Place Award for her “China Adoption” story.

Wendy loves feeling connected to the community through her work as a reporter. She likes the midwestern, small-city feel Rochester gives off. A proud mom to three daughters in college, Wendy feels at home in Rochester because it’s their home. When Wendy isn’t reporting, you can find her hanging out with her husband and children.

You can email Wendy and follow her on Twitter.
