The official lineup for the 21st Edition CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival, which takes place Friday, June 21 to Saturday, June 29, at 20 indoor and outdoor venue in Rochester, has been announced.
This year's festival will feature more than 1750 artists from 16 countries playing in 326 concerts, including 100-plus free shows.
There will be five free concerts at the Wegmans Stage at Parcel 5 and City of Rochester Stage at East & Chestnut:
- June 22: Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, City of Rochester East Ave & Chestnut Stage
- June 26: Sheila E. and E-Train, Wegmans Stage at Parcel 5
- June 27: Los Lonely Boys, Wegmans Stage at Parcel 5
- June 28: Cimafunk, Wegmans Stage at Parcel 5
- June 29: Rejuvenation 50! Celebrating The Meters, A New Orleans Mardi Gras Party, Wegmans Stage at Parcel 5
There will also be five ticketed shows at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theater:
- June 21: Taj Mahal
- June 22: Lee Ritenour Band + Special Guests Randy Brecker and Bill Evans
- June 26: Laufey, sold out
- June 27: John Oates
- June 28: Samara Joy

Additionally, Jam Sessions will be held nightly at the Hyatt Regency Rochester Astor on Main, 51 concerts will take place for free on the Jazz Street Stage, five free Jazz Workshops for musicians will be held, and more.
