The owner of the Diplomat Banquet Center has been arrested following an investigation into a massive brawl and shooting last month.

Louis Polizzi, 48, is charged with criminal nuisance in the second-degree, a misdemeanor. Gates police accuse him of creating an environment that endangered the safety and health of attendees at his venue.

Police confirmed Tuesday that they have requested $4,500 in restitution to cover the overtime officers worked to investigate what they say was a preventable incident.

The Gates Police Department confirms that during the investigation they recovered video of a bartender spitting into ice that was used to make drinks at the bar. They're also requesting that the New York State Alcohol Beverage Control Board review the business's liquor license.

According to police, the Diplomat has canceled a party slated to happen February 17. Officers are now investigating another party slated for February 16  in conjunction with the promoter from the Schramrocks incident.

Several others have also been arrested in connection to the incident.
