Two people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Middletown. 

Amanda Pumillo, 45, and her husband, 55-year-old Francis Pumillo, were found dead in the garage of their home on Vincent Drive. Police say Francis shot and killed his wife before turning the gun on himself. 

The pair were discovered after Amanda didn't show up for her nursing shift.

This is the second time in eight days that the Middletown Police Department has responded to a domestic violence-related murder/suicide.
