Four students from the Alpha Chi Rho fraternity have been suspended in connection with one of the cases. It happened over the weekend on College Place when a racial slur was yelled at a black woman.
All fraternity social activities have also been suspended through the end of the semester.
Chancellor Syverud also says rumors of a white supremacist manifesto being sent to students in the library was likely a hoax. Law enforcement has not been able to locate anyone who actually received the document.
There have also been 12 separate cases of racist and anti-semitic graffiti on our near campus over the past two weeks.
There's a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of any suspects.
