There's an active investigation at Syracuse University into a threat posted online.

The Department of Public Safety said Tuesday morning it has received multiple reports of a document purported to be a white supremacist manifesto being airdropped to individuals’ cell phones in Bird Library. Syracuse DPS say they have no reports of anyone actually receiving the manifesto document.

There was also a message posted on Greekrank.com, a Greek Life forum. It appears to be the New Zealand shooter's manifesto, the gunman who opened fire in a mosque there earlier this year. It has since been deleted.

The University's Public Safety Department is working with New York State Police and the FBI to determine where the document came from.

At this point, they say there does not appear to be any direct threat.

In the meantime,  DPS is doubling patrols and increasing their presence strategically around campus.

SU has been grappling with a series of racial incidents in the last week.
