Former West Genesee Superintendent Christopher Brown has a new job.

Brown — who resigned from his position earlier this year after allegations of an affair with an employee he supervised — has been selected as superintendent of the Marcus Whitman Central School District in Ontario County, according to the school district’s website. Brown denied the affair.

The board of education appointed Brown on Monday during a meeting, pending contract negotiations.

Back in January, the West Genesee School Board and Brown reached a separation agreement, where he was paid $120,000 as part of that agreement. Michael Schiedo came out of retirement to serve as interim superintendent after Brown’s departure.

Brown will start his new job July 1.
