The Albany FireWolves' start a new season in the Capital City this week.

The FireWolves are preparing to host the Saskatchewan Rush on Saturday in downtown Albany's MVP Arena.

Several key players are returning this year, including forward Alex Simmons and goalie Doug Jamieson. But there's also exciting additions like rookie Dyson Williams as Albany looks to become a title contender again.

“People know he’s going to have great offensive instincts and skills," head coach and General Manager Glenn Clark said. "But his size and speed, I think, is what surprises people. He's a big, big guy, strong, athletic and fast. And that's, you know, you add that to all the other, intangible skills he has. He's worthy of that one overall.”

The season opener starts at 7 p.m. Saturday in the MVP.
