Quintin Lacy, 30, of Albany has been charged in connection with the murder of Ahmad Fleming on Second Street, according to the Albany Police Department.

Police say 33-year-old Fleming was shot in the abdomen in the area of Second and Judson streets. Fleming walked into Albany Med with a gunshot wound in his torso and passed away shortly after.
Lacy was arrested Friday morning according to the APD. They say on December 7 around 10:50 a.m. Lacy shot Fleming, and as a result, has been charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession in the second-degree.
Albany police say Lacy was arraigned Friday in the Albany City Criminal Court and sent to the Albany County Jail.
