A warm front will bring rain to areas from the state Thruway south this evening with mixed precipitation across the North Country this evening into Saturday morning. Lows will drop into the 30s and 40s.
Mixed precipitation will persist for most of Saturday across the North Country with temperatures in the 30s. Freezing rain will be a concern.
On the warm side of the front, look for a few showers and highs in the 70s in the lower Hudson Valley Saturday afternoon.
Shower chances continue Sunday with cooler temperatures.
A cold front Monday will keep rain chances in the forecast to start next week. High pressure will then move in Tuesday.

5. Trump asks Supreme Court for permission to resume deporting Venezuelan migrants under wartime law
The emergency appeal to the high court follows a rejection of the Republican administration's plea to the federal appeals court in Washington. By a 2-1 vote, a panel of appellate judges left in place an order temporarily prohibiting deportations of the migrants under the rarely used Alien Enemies Act.
6. Powerful earthquake rocks Myanmar and Thailand, killing more than 150 people
A powerful earthquake rocked Myanmar and neighboring Thailand on Friday, destroying buildings, a bridge and a dam. At least 144 people were killed in Myanmar, where photos and video from two hard-hit cities showed extensive damage. At least eight died in the Thai capital, where a high-rise under construction collapsed.
