County Health Commissioner Dr. Elizabeth Whalen said that, overnight, county officials did see a rise in the number of positive tests, reflecting figures being received from the drive-in testing site at the University at Albany. Whalen also addressed concerns that some can't access that facility, because they don't have a car or other reasons. She said the county is working to ensure "test equity" in the county and hopes to have information on that in the near future.

As always, Whalen and McCoy stressed continued adherence to social distancing guidelines.
