The first cases of coronavirus were reported in New York on March 1. While the downstate area has seen the brunt of cases from the virus, the upstate region has seen its own share of cases, mostly centered in the counties home to upstate's large cities of Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse.

Here are the counties where the virus has been reported.
