NORTH CAROLINA -- Expect more pleasant weather as we head through the weekend.

We won’t be quite as cold as Saturday morning, but we’ll see lows in the 50s.

Sunday's highs will be about ten degrees above average across central North Carolina. Expect mostly sunny skies with a few clouds moving in late ahead of a cold front that will settle across the region late Sunday night. 

Expect a cooler day Monday due to the cold front passing through. Highs will be around five degrees above average instead of ten. A strong cold front will arrive Tuesday bringing a better chance of rain to the state Tuesday into Wednesday morning.
