Wednesday is shaping up to be a pretty nice day across central North Carolina!   We'll see a mix of clouds and sun for most of the day.  Look for more sunshine from near the Triangle to the north and more clouds in the Sandhills.  Highs temperatures should reach the mid 60s.

Most of Wednesday will be dry, but rain showers will be possible by late afternoon and eveing from near Fayetteville to the South Carolina border.

Otherwise, look for mostly cloudy conditions through Wednesday night with low temperatures in the 40s by early Thursday morning.

Rain will spread into North Carolina from the south and southwest Thursday.  It may take until late day or evening to see much of that rain in the Triangle.   Look for higher rainfall amounts in the Sandhills Thursday afternoon.

High temperatures will just make it to the 50s for Thursday and Friday.  There's only a slight chance for a quick passing shower Friday.  Otherwise, the last day of the work week will be partly cloudy and breezy.

We are then in store for a sunny weekend.  Near freezing temperatures are forecast for both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
