GREENSBORO, N.C. -- After a stretch of upper 80s and high humidity, today’s temperatures won’t feel too bad. Highs today will top out in the lower 80s, plus the humidity will be a bit lower.
Lows tonight will drop to the upper 50s to lower 60s. Wednesday looks to be the nicest and coolest day of the week, with highs in the upper 70s to around 80. Although those temperatures aren’t all that cool, they are actually near normal for this time of year.
Enjoy the more comfortable weather while we have it because high heat makes a comeback as we wrap up the week and head into the weekend. Highs on Thursday will make it back to the upper 80s, plus there is a chance of an isolated showers or thunderstorm.
A stretch of 90s begins on Friday and continues through Memorial day on Monday. With high humidity, we could be dealing with heat indices of 95-100 in some cities. Make sure you stay hydrated, find shade, and take breaks of you plan to spend time outdoors.
